Management Trainee
Most people have high expectation on their first job and Sino Management Trainee programme definitely exceeds the expectation of mine. Over the past year, I have been attached to different departments with a view to familiarize with the structure of a multi-billion dollar real estate business. It is no less fruitful than any other experiences I have ever had. The job rotations allow me to extend my business network and polish my soft skills, which are essential to my career development.
For the first two attachments, I went to Asset Enhancement Team and Development Team. I had the chance to participate in a number of interesting projects, such as planning of a large residential development, re-planning of some iconic shopping malls and the conversion of old buildings to modern serviced apartments. These experiences enable me to acquire industry knowledge and sharpen my business acumen. I also took part in a number of ad-hoc projects including the handover of newly completed residential properties, tendering of private commercial site and Executive Development Programme group project research, etc. These projects have broadened my horizons with opportunity to work closely with our company executives, which makes this programme even more special.
I am currently attached to the Sales Department and has kicked off my journey to attaining the qualification of GP surveyor. In this attachment, I have the chance to gain hands-on experience on pricing of properties, competitive analysis, schematic planning, all of which are precious knowledge relevant to my career.
On top of the rewarding job nature, the supportive working environment of Sino is another plus. Colleagues and mentors provide valuable career advice and support to MTs. They also actively engage us to be part of the team. In Sino, you can feel that teamwork is truly upheld as one of the core values.
If you are passionate about the real estate industry, join us and be part of our great team!
